Vienna dialect inspired font.

The feschtype font was created in the context of an experimental font design workshop. Our goal was to design a font that represents the "Wiener Schmäh", the dialect spoken in Vienna, Austria. We achieved that with narrow x-height, round forms and a signature ligature. The whole font got an organic and swinging vibe to it, just like the dialect itself. In the video it is compared to the font Arial. You can try out the font yourself by downloading the attached file.
